Stone House is an Ottoman mansion built in 1931 with the Masonry Stone technique in the Nicosia Walled City. In 2016, the restoration and renovation of house begun, and it has opened to the public on May 13, 2017. It is intended to prompt the tourism potentiality of this cultural heritage by offering services as Boutique Hotel, Art Gallery, and Café & Restaurant in harmony with natural texture. Stone House is intertwined with the architectural texture of Nicosia Walled City which is ideal for sightseeing in the daytime and nightlife. The mansion consists of two floors with a large hall covered with mosaics of Cyprus on the ground floor, stairs composed of original Cyprus marble and three rooms with local gypsum marble of Cyprus on the first floor.
A hidden inner garden where the cafe & restaurant and outdoor art activities take place is integrated to the house from northern side. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms that are used with the aim of boutique hotel and a big, large hall which hosts special events and meetings. Also, it has a living area with full of sun and a large terrace where open-air cinema nights and cultural/art meetings take place.
